So Students Can Achieve Their Potential

The spirit learns to soar through education

It’s true, education can be the catalyst that propels so many to achieve their dreams. But for some, those dreams never get off the ground. Not even a little bit. The Foundation for Educational Opportunity is a private, charitable foundation committed to improving the lives and futures of disadvantaged children throughout the US. Its mission is to grant scholarship awards toward future education costs to students who are eligible for free and reduced lunch (Title I). Since 2000, the Foundation has awarded more than $85,000 in scholarships.

Jamie Piotti founded the organization as part of her unwavering dedication to helping students succeed in school and in life. Through the years, she has helped numerous disadvantaged students pursue their dreams of higher education. The foundation awards annual scholarships to deserving students. Candidates must apply and provide written appraisal and documentation of their unique qualifications.
